Challenges in Transnational Litigation: 8th Edition

jim-8thed-cover.png

This is a practice manual for U.S. advocates representing clients who have left the United States. It was first published in 2008 for the National Farmworker Conference. With this eighth edition, we continue to address the most common and pressing issues in advocating for justice across borders while also highlighting legal methods and technologies that, while not necessarily new, may have been viewed as too novel or burdensome to adopt just a few years ago. As always, our hope with this manual is to inspire new advocates to take on the cause of migrants by gathering the practical tools necessary to zealously advocate for their clients both here and abroad, so that everyone, no matter who they are or where they come from, is ensured equal access to justice.
